Minder & Associates Engineering Corporation did the boundary survey, topographic survey, tree survey and the location of the Sarasota County, Florida Construction Control Line, the Longboat Key, Florida Construction Control Line and determined the Mean High Water Line of the property on the Gulf of Mexico.
After completion of the necessary survey information our firm worked with our client to prepare the land plan for the 12.21-acre project. By working with our client and laying out each individual lot on our computers, our firm was able to obtain 21 lots on the site in accordance with the Town of Longboat Key, Florida Land Development Regulations.
After review and approval of the site plan, our firm prepared and submitted for approval the preliminary and final Construction Plans and Specifications in accordance with the Town of Longboat Key, Florida Land Development Regulations.
Our firm then prepared the permit applications to the Town of Longboat Key, Florida and the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for sewer and water, and the Division of Natural Resources of the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the Coastal Construction Control Line and Mean High Water Line Determinations and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) for the Stormwater Management System.
After obtaining the necessary approvals from all of the regulatory agencies, our firm worked with our client to obtain, review and select a construction contractor for the construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
During the construction phase of the project, our firm did all of the construction staking and review and approval of the contractors monthly pay estimates. After completion of the construction of the improvements, our firm prepared the as-built drawings and the certificates of substantial completion for all of the regulatory agencies including the State of Florida Division of Natural Resource and our client.
